TEDxSeattle creates an entirely new brand for each event.
This project was designed from the ground up in a collaborative environment.
Starting with the abstract theme
“Degrees of Impact” I developed
the event logo through a series
of rapid iterations.
This design went on to influence the
suite of visual materials creating a
seamless audience experience.
The main lobby of the theater
presented us with the
opportunity to produce 16 large
posters. We used this space to
give the attendees a preview of
their day and promote our many
The curators of TEDxSeattle have
a particular love of all things
tactile, and asked to have a
printed program that would both
connect the event’s online and in-
person experiences, and serve as
a beautiful memento of the day.
In the application to attend the
event, people were asked “what
can you not stop talking about?”

We designed a series of simple wayfinding posters that
maintained the visual theme
and created a seamless user
experience during the live event
as attendees transitioned from
main-stage talks, to networking
opportunities, to lunch in a
quiet is a local arts community with a consistent lineup of theater productions,
community events, workshops and showcases. Marketing efforts bridge traditional
printed pieces (posters, postcards) with the emerging digital forums of social media
and web presence through banner ads, facebook presence and local media outlets.

and ordered, with concierge-style
product suggestions. The check-
out process is streamlined by
linking the customers credit card
and loyalty card to the app.
